“I Know Your Pain” | “Been There, Done That”
Welcome. I’m Valerie Miller, founder of the 8aNetwork.

Based on my own company experience in 2005, after my first narrative attempt failed, I spent 2 weeks researching and successfully re-submitted my narrative. My company, Design2Train, a woman-owned company was officially SBA 8(a) certified.

YES! I had cracked the narrative writing code. Since 2005, I have personally helped hundreds of business owners nationwide to successfully prepare their social narratives. We now offer an affordable DWY option to give you the training and ready-to-fill narrative template to get your Social Narrative completed quickly, even if you are not a good writer.

SBA 8(a) Social Narrative DWY Preparation
Self-Paced Training  & Ready-to-Fill Template

Quit wasting time and get it done.
Confidently prepare your narrative, even if you aren’t a good writer.

You must write a social narrative to prove social disadvantage if you are applying as a non-designated minority, woman, or service-disabled veteran. As stated in the SBA website, the narrative  provides “specific claims, incidents of bias, or discriminatory conduct directed towards you.”   Don’t take the Social Narrative section lightly.

While the SBA does give some general advice, they are very picky in the review process of your application.  In reality, the Social Narrative is the critical determining factor in your SBA 8(a) application.

You don’t have to start with a blank sheet of paper, use our proven system to write your narrative quickly. We provide:
• Self-paced training lessons with best practice tips
• Ready-to-fill Narrative template
• Optional Review Service

Here’s how easy it is to get your narrative written:
Enroll in the program and get instant access to the Narrative Prep Client Portal.
Listen to the first training lesson, download the template and starting filling in your information.
Continue with each lesson, until you have completed filling in your narrative template.
Want us to review before you submit?  We will review and return with narrative improvement tips within 2 business days.
When you are ready to submit the narrative, cut/paste into the SBA 8(a) online application and you are done!

Note: This Social Narrative may fulfill your social narrative application to a State DOT requirement

Testimonials

“Ms. Miller’s experience in this field enabled her to take my rambling and massive amounts of information and hone it down to the most critical and effective.

She guided me through writing a cohesive and articulate narrative that persuaded the reviewer to acknowledge the discrimination and obstacles I’d faced.”

“Since receiving our 8a status we were able to substantially grow our business by using it as a tool, but its accompanied by hard work and dedication to your company to grow your brand.

With the help of Ms. Miller’s exquisite writing abilities we were able to receive our 8a status when previously being denied she is truly a professional in her field. “
